Apple Cranberry Salad Toss

Cranberries have tannins, compounds that keep bacteria from binding to cells, preventing them from multiplying and causing infections. Apples are a good source of soluble fiber and shine in antioxidant phytochemicals.

Ingredients:
1 head of lettuce (about 10 cups)
2 medium sliced apples
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup sliced green onions
3/4 cup vinaigrette dressing

Directions:

Toss lettuce, apples, walnuts, cranberries, and onions in large bowl.

Add dressing; toss to coat. Serve immediately.
