Macaroni Salad

For most pasta salads except Asian types, use small pastas such as penne, fusilli, farfalle, rigatoni, orzo, conchiglie or orecchiette. Source: Pasta Salad Pointers

Ingredients:
12 ounces elbow macaroni
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
1/4 cup salad dressing, mayonnaise-type
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions:

  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and cool.
  2. Combine green pepper, salad dressing, and spices.
  3. Add macaroni and toss lightly. Chill.

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 8 to 10 minutes

4 Servings, 1-1⁄2 cups each
